An El Día De Los Muertos Wedding

Every once in a while I have the chance to work with a couple who are truly inspired by something as a theme or backdrop for their wedding and I love seeing just how people choose to incorporate those inspirations. For this wedding, everything was about The Day of the Dead. This wedding actually took place on the actual Day of the Dead and featured many delightful thematic touches. From the traditional colorful paper decorations (Papel Picado) to the Ofrenda which took up almost all of one wall, to the ground strewn with marigold flowers, this small family wedding was amazing. I had the chance to flavor my ceremony with a little Latino Zest as well, marking it as a celebration of family and of a love that crosses the divide. It was very cool. Congrats again to Heather and Shawn!
